The Government of Ontario has announced that it is extending the period for allowing condominium corporations to call and hold virtual meetings until December 31, 2021.
The Province’s decision to suspend limitation periods in light of the COVID-19 pandemic was in effect from March 16 to September 11, 2020. The suspension of limitation periods has been lifted since September 14, 2020.
Limitation periods have been up and running since… and here’s a quick reminder to check yours!
In accordance with last week’s announcement from the provincial government, the Stay-at-Home Order (that was in effect since December 2020) has been lifted in most public health regions across Ontario as of today, and a transition to a revised COVID-19 Response Framework is expected.
