REMINDER: Changes to the Condominium Act, 1998 Come Into Force on October 1, 2023

Effective October 1, 2023, changes to the Condominium Act, 1998 come into force. The changes replace the temporary provisions in the Act that expire September 30, 2023 related to virtual/electronic processes for meetings and voting with permanent provisions. Additionally, the changes confirm that condominium corporations can provide notices to owners electronically without the need for an agreement respecting electronic notices.
