Simon Brick is an associate lawyer at Davidson Houle Allen LLP.
Simon obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, graduating with honors.
During law school, Simon worked as a Writing Leader with the University of Ottawa Legal Writing Academy to help fellow law students improve their legal writing skills. Simon also volunteered with the Indigenous Human Rights Program where he presented public legal education on human rights law in collaboration with the Odawa Native Friendship Centre.
Simon completed his articles with a focus on civil litigation at a small firm in Ottawa and was responsible for all Small Claims Court and Landlord & Tenant Board matters. After being called to the Ontario Bar, Simon launched his own law practice assisting clients with contractual disputes, consumer protection and housing matters.
Simon joins the DHA team keen to hone his litigation skills and to help condominium corporations navigate their legal issues – no matter the complexity. Simon values contributing to his community and regularly volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario’s Free Legal Advice Hotline.
When Simon is not at his desk, you’re most likely to find him hiking, biking or climbing in the National Capital Region or canoe-tripping somewhere in Algonquin Park’s backcountry.
