Dominique Mesina is an associate lawyer at Davidson Houle Allen LLP. Dominique is an effective problem-solver dedicated to finding the most practical and efficient solutions for her clients. She has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court, and has acted as second chair in a trial during her articling year.
Dominique obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University and graduated in the top 3% of her graduating class at Carleton University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law with a concentration in Business Law and a minor in Political Science.
Prior to joining DHA, Dominique summered, articled, and was a litigation associate at a boutique civil litigation firm in Ottawa specializing in insurance defence.
While in law school, Dominique worked as a student caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid, where she collaborated with other law students to advocate for low-income clients and students in the Kingston community. Prior to attending law school, she also worked at plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, where she was able to learn what it was like to work on tort and accident benefits claims.
In her free time, Dominique enjoys discovering new restaurants, watching baseball from spring ‘til fall (Go Blue Jays!) and spending time with her favourite people, as well as her three cats.
